In bright sun it gets pretty bright. It will appear slightly darker in perfect bright sun than TR. In the dark it will look moderately darker than TR.

Here is a good idea of how it will look on a car with a similar shape. Ferrari 488 Pista in Rosso Magma. The red Ferrari behind it is fairly close to Torch Red. In talking with Tadge, this was the look they were going for.

Default Red Mist Metallic, what brake caliper color?

Before seeing these picture comparisons, I was thinking Edge Red Calipers, but now I'm not so sure that Bright Red Calipers might be a better match?
Perhaps I may have to go with the standard black caliper.
Interested in hearing what others considering Red Mist Metallic as their color of choice think............

I saw a just washed Mazda Miata today and this is not even close to that. This is much lighter with more pink and orange.

Thanks for posting. These photos confirm my suspicion that Red Mist would be too bright for me. I've been sold on LBR since I saw it on a C7, and it.looks like if I want a LBR C8 it will have to be a used 2020.

I’m going with the black calipers and Morello dipped interior. The bright red calipers might be a bit much. Subtle is better.

Next to the Torch Red it looks more like Crystal Red Metallic, but then out in the sun light it looks much brighter.

IMO both reds offered for the caliper would clash and I would stick with black. I'm thinking now the same for the two tone red interior smh

GM missed the ball not offering a silver metallic caliper to go with colors where bright red or edge red don't coordinate. Black just fades away and you can't see it. If I had to choose I'd pick edge red.

GM nailed this color... looks amazing.

How does this compare to Torch Red? Torch was too bright for me,was leaning on LBR but since it's gone for 2021 changed to Red Mist but that may be too flashy for me as well. definitely sticking with the black calipers.

Did you look at the pictures? It clearly shows the panel next to both LBR and TR.

Much better than LBR.

But would be great to see it vs Torch Red in the shade and sun outside...

Of course, but very hard for me to tell from the pictures between Torch and Mist. In one photo it looks as bright and in the second photo it looks darker. LBR is obviously darker. Looking for others opinions.
