Looking for red mist metallic on Corvette Blvd
Supposedly red mist metallic will be unveiled at NCM during today’s anniversary celebration. Been watching the webcam, and only seeing customer cars in Torch Red and Long Beach Red and some vendor displays. Expecting a call from Macmulkin to firm up my #280 slot and hope they show more than a spray out panel. All the reds together on the floor would be great. I don't know that they will have an entire car. I believe it will just be a body panel in red mist paint on display somewhere.
Someone posted that some silver flair have come off the line though, so maybe there's hope?

Generally, new colors get phased in slowly, in this case after 2021 production begins. When Sebring Orange (SO) was announced in the summer of 2017 as an added color when the new paint plant opened. They didn't start painting SO cars until mid-January 2018. Mine was one of them.
Unless they do some one-offs for marketing purposes, we may not see an actual car in that color until early next year.

I wouldn't use the Corvette Blvd webcams to make a color decision. The white balance is way off on those cameras so color reproduction is inaccurate at best.

^ That is an understatement. Those cameras are horrible in terms of color accuracy.

I agree 100%, I can't tell the difference between Sebring Orange and Torch Red when looking at them on Corvette Blvd. I read on facebook that a 2021 HTC red mist metallic car was going down the production line with 24 other 2021 cars last night.

And then, there are the people walking around with blue skin.
That Facebook story is likely false. They're not producing 21s yet. BG previously said 20's would be produced into December. However, they could have slipped a Red Mist in for marketing purposes even though it's supposed to be only offered on 21s.

The two new colors, Red Mist and Silver Flare, will be unveiled at the end of Kai's on what's new at BG Assembly Plant. That seminar is Thursday from 2:30pm - 3:45pm CT. It will be rear panels that will painted for display, so you likely won't spot them on the web cams.

Nice. Can someone with a legit quality camera take pics of them. Maybe they will let you see it in the sun as well.

Is Kai’s presentation today being live-streamed?
