Default Macmulkin fee?

I am trying to price out my car completely between taxes, registration, xpel costs etc. can anyone advise if there is any fee for macmulkin for out of state purchases? Yes I know there’s no dealer fee or doc fee, but I thought I read they charge admin fee?? Anything other then msrp for the vehicle which I will owe?? Thank you

No fees! No Dealer Fees, no Doc Fees, no Admin Fees, no Processing Fees, no COVID Fees, no Bathroom Use Fees, no Fresh New Hampshire Air Fees! In case I wasn’t clear, NO FEES!

No dealer fees. My total bill to them was the exact MSRP down to the penny.

You know what, I just realized I was half wrong. They do have a doc fee, but they lower the sales price by the amount of the doc fee. So yes they charge a doc fee, but your total bill doesn't change.

I picked my C8 up at MacMulkin on 8/3/20. The Dealer experience was so great, from order to delivery. I have received a few texts from Tommy after the sale. I have nothing but good to say about MacMulkin.
I think you should ask your Team at MacMulkin what their fees are, they can let you know what to expect when you pickup your C8 via Courtesy Delivery or if it is shipped. They can explain the fees and their purpose (my State has no Sales Tax but an "Out if State" Dealers tax that most people are not aware of.
Congrats on your C8 and good choice dealing with The Corvette Team at MacMulkin!!

Jeff

I also got mine at MacMulkin. Great to work with and the purchase price + doc fee = MSRP. As previously stated, they reduce the price of the car proportional to the fee, so you only pay MSRP.

Also a great dealer, purchased a 2019 GS from them in April and had it shipped to Florida.
Great experience, as advertised and smooth transaction. Seriously consider ordering my C8 from them when ready.

That is probably because they have a doc fee on other Chevy models and if they don't show a doc fee on the buyers order there could be law suit by others that paid a doc fee on say a Malibu or Truck, ect.

With everything I hear about MacMulkin I’m believing it’s the best Corvette dealer in the U.S. If a person wants to know something MacMulkin will find an answer.

Question. How do they handle the out of state sales tax? Do we pay taxes when we bring home and register it?

I got this response from Macmulkin about sales tax options. I'm doing a courtesy delivery to Autonation in AZ.

"In regards to your question about the taxes; if you finance through us then we will always roll in the sales tax (as a commitment to our lenders to ensure the car gets registered). After we are funded by the bank we will cut you a check for the amount of the sales tax that was rolled in, which will either be made out to your local DMV/Tag office, or AutoNation, depending on who you plan to take care of the registration. If you will be financing through lender of your own then the sales tax can still be rolled in, if you'd like. We again, would just cut a check for the amount of the sales tax that was rolled in and will send it to whoever you plan to take care of the reg (either you or autonation)."

This is correct now. Bought a 2019 and had the taxes rolled in, was planning on just paying the taxes to the DMV in my home state (NY) like I did in 2013 on my C6. Something changed though so they roll it in now. Just increased the down payment and they wrote the check to the DMV, since it was a pick up there and drove home on the supplied 20 day temp tags they provided.

Yes, as of last year (and previous years). Would have to verify with 2020 C8 owners now to be 100% accurate. They did as of last year supply 20 day temp tags. (cardboard that fits into a standard plate frame for the rear.

I realize they have a reputation second to none. But do they provide you any information as to pricing (no-dealer markups, factory msrp is what will be owed anf it includes an adjustment for dealer fees(so you end up not paying more than msrp)) when you give them the $1,000 deposit to reserve a allocation spot)?

I am looking to pull the trigger soon on getting in line for a 2022 Z06.

I got an email that stated price would be MSRP. Deposit was $2000 in January 2020. I’m not concerned about the exact wording or about getting a legal “contract” after reading dozens and dozens of glowing recommendations from current and former customers, many who have bought multiple Corvettes from them over the years. Actions do speak louder than words.

THIS is exactly why I buy from MacMulkin. I have zero stress about anything going slimy on me. Zero. I love buying new vettes from these guys.
