Red Interior Trim Dash Glare
For those of you who have the red interior with the red trim on the dash, do you get glare on windshield as shown in attached photo?

well I mean it is there in the pic man?
There's always a give and take. Ive had colored dashes in corvettes before. It happens at a certain point at a certain angle at a certain time of year. You'll live.
Just use polarized glasses they cut it down big time. Or get all black and you'll still have some trim reflect just because

Reason I chose NOT to get the natural dipped interior. Early videos showed it had massive glare in sunlight conditions. Reviewers with that interior also complained. I chose the tan and expect I will have the lines like you do with the red. It’s just the price of having anything other than black on your dash. Look at it this way, we’ve got ready made lane guides as part of our HUD!!

Couldn't take my eye off that driver door skin to center dash alignment, must be the worst I have seen.
70 percent windshield tint would cut the glare significantly while being virtually invisible and not affecting the HUD. Dipped tan is another story but with the red interior that particular reflection is there during specific time of day and your brain tunes it out pretty quickly. Adjusting seat position helps a lot as well, to me it is a non issue.

I have the sky cool grey and you can see it just like the red in your pic, but like 5 min into a drive you don't notice it. And polarized sunglasses get rid of most of it. There is a couple page long thread about it already also.

I have it on my silver trim on black dash. Wife complained about the glare from trim at glove box door. I used double sided tape and a piece of black felt to put on the trim piece. For the dash I used some of the same material a cut out a hole to fit over the sensor and just lay it on the dash. Cuts out the glare when using the

+1 on polarized lenses really dimming that glare. I have the same interior......the dipped interiors have it a bit worse. To their credit, GM does put a note in the C8 sales brochure regarding dipped interiors and reflective glare........
I also drive with non-polarized lenses as well and as someone else said, I have gotten so used to it being there, that I rarely notice it anymore.

I found a particular color polarized snap-on lens for my transition glasses completely eliminates ALL glare (see pic.) No problem seeing HUD, just increased the brightness. Another color of the same brand did little. I was amazed, had never tried polarized lens before.
Have had my car for a year. Polarized snap-ons sits in my center console for the year I have the car! Not needed. Granted some folks appear more sensitive but the only real glare when you look foreword is around HUD. Again you see right through it and really don't notice. Other glare is high on the windshield and only an issue if looking at birds!

I have the same red/black interior and I honestly have not seen them to the point of being a distraction. The only time they really stand out is when I'm playing back the PDR I can really notice the one to the left of center on the recording.

If you remove the windshield, the reflections will be gone. it might get a little windy, but no more pesky reflections!

Actually that’s a lie. I have many, I’m just going to keep them to myself.
Actually, that’s a lie too… that is hands down the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. Double-stick tape? Seriously?

I’ve never noticed the glare on my c8 with red accents. For the people that it really does bother, maybe you could inquire with Dash Mat. They don’t have a pattern listed for the c8 but possibly could make a custom one.

Such glare (in many vehicles) is an unfortunate result of physics. That's why we have Polarizing lenses.

I harken to think what this post would be about if you hadn't taken delivery yet.
Fwiw I never saw the ➡️ "arrow" in the FedEx logo until someone pointed it out to me - guess I was part of the 10% not to see it - now it can't be unseen so there is that.
