OMG. Automatic car washes are only for lease cars. Ruin paint.

Don’t kid yourself thinking touchless car washes get a car completely clean. You may want to think they do but there is still a film left on the car. The dirtier your car initially is the more film will be left behind. When you dry it you are grinding that film back into the paint resulting in small scratches. You might see that dirt film on whatever you are using to dry the car. Your car may look good to you after using touchless and to some that is all that matters. Be careful.

Touchless car washes also use an engine degreaser product in their soap. How else would normal soap and water clean a dirty car without touching it. Something has to cut through the road grime.. The engine degreaser soap also strips your car wax off the minute it touches it.

washing the c8 is nothing like washing the c7
the c8 has too many areas where the automatic brush would get stuck and the water would damage the radiators around and getting on top of a hot engine
hand wash is best
c7 is a breeze to wash 10-15 min
c8 40-50 min also you have to dry the engine compartment and frunk area (pain in the ***) very hard to reach and
that's why i use a blower to dry it
