Default Why Why Why GM? No Red Seats in a Silver Car?

It appears that the General just wants to nickle and dime its owners by charging override fees to get a red interior. Really you don't think Silver and red go together? However you allow red calipers on silver cars....hmmmmm. Im sick and tired of GMs extra add on fees to get the car I want to build. These fees are nonsense.

More nonsense from MagicGlass. No color override fee is required for Adrenaline Red interior with the Silver Flare Metallic exterior for 2021. There is no change from the 2020 Adrenaline Red interior with Blade Silver Metallic exterior.

Go to Porsches configuration page. GM has the best deal in the world for options, BAR NONE.

Pretty sure you can get a red interior in a silver car without an override fee.

Not so with the yellow though. GM should not even allow that combo for any $$$.

What are you talking about! The Order Guide has no such restriction, all red interiors are available at no extra charge.

Seems like it’s just one more thing you don’t like about GM, Chevrolet and the C8. You don’t like the engine cover, you don’t like the rear Z51 spoiler, you don’t like water getting into the engine compartment, you don’t care for the paint quality, you don’t like the front license plate holder, and you called the C8 the “biggest Corvette launch disaster in history”. Seems simple to me, just don’t buy a C8!

I went on the GM configuration site and for a 1LT they were charging an over ride fee. Maybe its changed?

Pretty sure OP deserves a nice meme from Jake because I'm pretty sure that's his combo and no over ride fee exists for that combo.

I just now did it, and there was no upcharge. Here's a standard everything 1LT base car, silver w/ adrenalin red seats.

I just built a Blade Silver 1LT with Adrenaline Red interior - no color override required. I suggest you start over on your build. You've got something screwing things up.

Mulan is the base "leather." Napa is the upgrade. Thus, the no-option base silver car w/ red seats that I just configured above (see link in post #16) is Mulan, and stickers at $59,995.

Considering the source of the thread, let's lighten the thread: it's too bad to slay all those baby "mulans" to make an interior...

Kinda like baby naugas for those who know what that is.
