so as to PAINT Them Body Color
Whatever Designer/Engineer signed off on having those pcs BLACK as
Standard Should be demoted............

I asked one of the GM Reps at NCM 25th Anniversary Bash that question. He said the door pieces were the 1st to go on, meaning the interior door panels would need to come off to remove them. I ordered them on my 2020 TR coupe, and will order them on my 22 HTC no matter what color I decide on.

I haven't got mine yet, I'm in the #1 position for a 2022 at my local dealer @ MSRP. I much prefer the cleaner look of the body colored accents. I love the clean look on the Accelerate Yellow. Too many that I have seen with black accents, black roofs, black stripes or some combo of such, give the car a bumblebee look and I do not want that look on mine!

If I wanted a C8, it would definitely be with the body-colored bits vs.black. It makes the design more cohesive to my eyes.
