NCM called abt spelling
Hello
I am new to the forum with a C8 3LT torch red at 3000 status since March. I received a call from the National Corvette Museum a couple weeks ago asking how to spell my name. Although I do NOT have a museum delivery, I did select the option for a custom plaque inside the car.
The person said Chevy had instructed them to call to verify my name spelling. When I asked if this meant my car was close to being built, he said he didn’t know.
Has anyone else received a call like this? And if so, how long before you received your car or TPW?

I have NCM delivery on my order and they have had my Plaque engraving for months. Them asking means nothing. Since you went 3000 in March, your TPW will likely be sometime in Sep-Nov. My order went 3000 in Feb and my TPW is 8/3. March allocation numbers were much higher than previous months.

I went 3000 on 3/24. Lori gave me a tentative TPW of 6/7 yesterday. If the final TPW ends up being Sep-Nov, I will have to move since I likely can't drive the car in November where I live....

Boomer, my new updated TPW today is 6/21. Was 6/14. Originally 5/31. Got bumped 1 week each 1 week shutdown which seems like what should have happened to everyone. GLTA
