Looks like we'll soon see who gets the first 2021 orders if this pace keeps up!

I have to wonder if the quality is going to suffer running people 10 hours a day. That's a long day on the assembly line.

Corvette assembly has traditionally involved overtime when needed to keep up with sales. In the olden days... They worked six day weeks when needed.

My opinion, which is shared with vast majority of my co workers working an aerospace manufacturing job, is that anything up to 12 hours isn't really noticeable. After that, people really start to drag.

Hopefully the BGA boys are nice and well rested after the long shut down, ready to work that OT.

That would mean anyone whose 2020 order flops (a virtual certainty), will either go to the back of the line at that point or as is occurring almost daily now, 2021 TPW’s will be blowing around like the feather in Forrest Gump as they are slotted ahead of 2021 orders.

lLooking more likely that all status 3000 orders will be built the way things seem to be going

I'm thinking the day shift will go back to 8 hours a day if the 2nd shift starts up on 7/6/20 as reported on the Corvette Bolgger article. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's accurate.

I don't think second shift will start until July 13 at the earliest...

With as many orders as there are I would have 3- 8 hour shifts. I imagine supply parts couldn’t keep up. Even 2 shifts their will be many that won’t get a 2020.

I think they'll go back to two 8s when the second shift starts.

I meant 10 hour first shifts continue until second starts or only 8 hour for first starting Friday?
