^^^ Thx. Not a fan of center exhaust on a Vette so that's a small issue but hoping (and expecting) that wheel is camo because...oh my.

I was gonna buy a McLaren F1, but man, if the C8Z has a roof scoop, I'll buy one of them instead!

Yes, the wheels are covered (camo) to hide the carbon fiber brakes.

I highly suspect the outer pipes are not finished and will match the two center tips when its all said and done IF they end up doing this. If you look at the spacing, there is room to add the two center tips to the outside pipes.

Or the center tips look like they do simply because they are temporary hangars for the exhaust mount/straps.

Center exhaust exit looks much more appropriate to me. Glad they're designing one. That's great.

Why cover basically the whole car unless they are updating panels in each and everyone one of those locations?

That's precisely what they're doing. And no need to cover the lower rear fascia since that won't be the final design anyway. It seems like the only things staying the same is the roof panel and the door panel. Its going to look like a C8, but with nearly every panel tweaked in some way.

If I had to guess I'd say:

Different front fascia (think C8R design)
Different hood (probably some vents?)
Different (wider) front fenders
Different (wider) rear quarters/fenders
Different side intake scoop (C8R shape)
Different side skirts (wider/longer)
Different rear glass (coupe) vent (convertible) Probably different vents/or scoop
Different rear bumper cover (wider and you can see the different exit vents)
Different rear diffuser (center exhaust design?)

My guess is that, regardless of what they are changing, they don't want to give away any of the similarities or the differences.

How about a 6 tip exhaust with different lengths and diameters. Active exhaust....We know some buyers are critical of this part of the car?

For me the center exhaust looks better then the outboard rectangle four tips. Surprised GM did not go with the center exhaust on the C8 from the first.

Might as well go all the way - one tip for each cylinder, lol.
