Price is always a consideration. My point was the car is absolutely fantastic and being able to enjoy it now has value.

madrob2020, It was an Atlanta dealer. I don't know if this was a stock car or a cancellation. It is at 3000 status. Who knows if or when it will ever be built. Some other dealers that I called had available coupes. I am assuming they were cancellations.

Safety Car
I would never give a dealer the upper hand or the satisfaction of screwing my lights out to pay over sticker for a car. Period.

There is nothing wrong with paying sticker price or even over sticker for a first year car as long as you dont complain about depreciation and resale values later on.

Most people don’t enjoy throwing money out the window I guess. For me it’s that I could have just bought a better car for the bloated price like a used NSX.

Congrats OP. I look at it like it is all relative...
10 or 20k is nothing to you? Why not...
If 10 or 20k is a lot to you? You'd be a fool to waste it on an ADM unless in your 70s and this is a last hoorah... just my .02 since we're all giving some.

Good for you..... just as we're all different is how we approach things....... money we have or don't........tastes in everything....... remember there's a huge group on here who are jealous of anything and everything. You could have won the car in a raffle and the negative posters would have something to say.
Enjoy it!
Enjoy it!

Myself and others have HTC‘s at 3000 status. Coupes are the only thing that are available to put your hands on. Convertibles will not be produced for sometime in July. Your post was confusing you made it sound like they had a red HTC available to buy now. Thank you and good luck

Probably because because of the pictures of his garage he has enough money to make enjoying his car now a priority well the rest of us moderate income folks wait.
I think its great the rich folks who have the coin especially if its self made.
Forget paying over sticker......... if money is your motivation there are plenty of used prior generation Corvettes for sale to get your own high five. Why pay a $75K sticker when you can get a C5 z06 for 20?

Your money, so your choice how you spend it. Nothing wrong with having the car and enjoying it, other than a little lighter wallet.
