I personally believe in fair market capitalism and what the market will bear, but it is also fair to enlighten any potential customer that they can buy from Crisswell or McMullin and save a shitload of money, even after factoring in enclosed shipping.

That works when supply exceeds demand. Supply is very restricted right now.

True. Some people will willing pay $40,000 over sticker today to get a C8 now.

I turned down $25,000 for my Coupe for Various Reasons- believe it that Price was not One——but $40,000 ????? Might take some different thinking..... Guess those C8s are New though and I am approaching 200 Miles..................Not enough Descriptive Adjectives to Say how GREAT this Vette is..........H.

If we had fair market capitalism we could buy direct from GM.

Cars are not the free market. Far from it.

We should all call the dealership , ask questions about the options etc. Maybe make an appointment and not show. With enough calls , they will probably raise the premium another 5K. ,thinking the demand is there. A month from now they will still have the car and offer it for sale below MSRP.

Once reality sets in, people will realize that money is or will be very restricted as well. We are definitely in uncharted waters. Anyone who would pay that kind of ADM right now needs their head examined. To each his own though.

Just wait until production starts up and the C8's start being delivered again. I believe you will see more available for sale during these economic times. Unfortunately not everyone will be able to take delivery with this crisis. You will see these crazy asking prices go down. Only time will tell.

For that price I would buy a 911 or AMG Gt. I mean the whole idea of buying a Chevrolet is to save money and get something reasonably decent but cheap.

We sold more vehicles in April 2020 than in April 2019? Definitely strange times.

I live in LA. Yes, lots of folks here with more money than sense.
Just hope Elkhart Lake Blue is still available when I am ready.
