It might of been better and more acceptable to the critics if it had a nice gloss to it. My mom always told me, if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything.

OP, I'd like to see a few overall pictures of the car, hopefully with less annoying reflections.

Work looks very well done, esthetics are personal choices and I suspect you are very pleased with it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the first wood-panel wrapped C8.

Unlike most of the others commenting on this thread, I actually prefer fake carbon fiber vs the real thing,......

but it then again I prefer fake ***** over real ones also.

Wasn't there some little children's fad with peel off and on
stickers and such some years ago? Could this be the adult version?

A couple in Tucson made a mid size fortune with those bright colored kid's stickers. Built a 100,000 sq ft distribution facility shipping world wide. It was a license to stick it to you. Pardon the pun. Then they decided to hate each other and staughtered the golden goose fighting over the goose's egg. C'est la vie.

Hate to get back on point, but the advantage to wrapping, it can be temporary. Tastes change, you peel it off. Makes more sense than squandering mega money on real carbon fiber RPOs that will net you exactly zip when your sell it. And you will. Anybody heard about the C9? Ah it is gonna be......

You got that right. Different generation, the me generation, don’t care about others, just themselves.

Theres another thread about Zeus Bronze, the poor guy got more rude insults than a simple agree or disagree on the color.

It’s fine. If the owner likes it, then so be it. The C8 has an I’m a fake Lambo look anyway🤭

That's something a third owner who is 18 years old would do. Pretty terrible way to treat a brand new C8. Anyone defending this abomination should be ashamed.

Ed, it looks like it was applied and executed very well. If it was and it looks like its the real deal, there's nothing wrong with it. The aftermarket people will come make this somewhere down the road. But it's going to be expensive.

I souls like to tell ALL of you guys that I was told, flat out, by a GM executive on the Corvette team that some of Corvette's Carbon Fiber is also an overlay-it's not pure Carbon Fiber.

THERE ARE TOO MANY OF YOU THAT COULD TAKE A CUE BY TAKING TO HEART WHAT MY MOM TOLD ME A LONG TIME AGO...."it's not what you say-it's the way you say it".
