So what's the number over MSRP to take your C8
I waited a long time and was fortunate enough to get my C8. I want to spend more time driving this car but I've been approached by someone who sells higher end cars who would like to list my car. But I seriously think it would take 20k over to get me to sell this car and I know that wont work. Just not interested - curious if any other current owners have been approached?

yet another fascinating topic
1LT 4 Sale > asking $69,998

My wife informed me that when we get ours, no amount over what we pay would buy the car. Said even $30k wouldn't make up for me making her a CF widow since last August.

$20K is probably the number I'd be like, "Here you go". And skip off with my profit and be happy to get back in line for another one. As much as I want this car, I'm not stupid. It's still just a car and that's a good bit of profit.

20k could buy a lot of stocks on the cheap!

I think its personal to the individual and dependent on how important the car is to you, possibly factoring in what other cars you own that will fill the seat time until you can buy another!
For me it would be $20k plus, but even then I wouldn't actively go out and list it, it would just need to magically happen. lol

Here is my suspicion....we see a lot of cars on cargurus autotrader etc listed at 125k +. Theyve been up for weeks...clearly no one is stupid enough to pay 40k+ over MSRP for a Corvette. It would not surprise me if these were dealers or friends of dealers who put the cars up at huge markups so that the dealers can justify 5-10k markups as a "deal".

A dealer would NEVER stoop to that level.😁

With me I'd take $20K over what I paid, including tax. That would still be a difficult decision, but it would be gone.
