Do your homework. The new Supra sucks, if you're looking for anything close to what the C8 is.

Never drove an E89 had a F32 440 MPPSK/THP 8ZF last time so I can't compare. That said, the car I had with a DCT was a 2011 E92 335is. The Z4 is quicker & shifts faster then either. Its very agile & a good all round ride. Never really used the backseat in the 440 & it looked like the coming G series M4 has an unattractive Pig Snout, figured I would get a two seater to replace it. Have a Suburban RST Performance if I need to move people or stuff.

Like the idea of a DCT behind a DOHC in the C8 but the reality is the current 8ZF units are just as good. Expect my wife will keep the Z4 when I get the C8.

Sad that so many factors kinda rained on the possibly record setting big breakout C8 first year. What will they change in 2021 with all this time on their hands?

Sidepiece ? Yeah, another Kimber 1911. At my age ? Don't need or want the issues a younger woman would create.

I have been stuck at 1100 status for months and decided not to wait any longer. Purchased a 2019 C7 2LT and love it! Got over 10K off sticker price and above average price for my trade. My dealer stated that it will cost me between 5-7k to drive the car for a year and will take it on trade when my C8 arrives. I have owned several sports car but this is my first corvette. This is one of my favorites so far and I think I will keep it. It is interesting to see how many people decided to buy something else. It makes you wonder how many sales that GM has lost. Hopefully things can get back to normal soon!

How is he being ignorant just because he chooses to like what he likes? I would venture to say that you are the ignorant one based upon the fact that you can't understand that people like what they like regardless of what you like.

I think just about everyone here will be back on the market for a C8 once they start shipping, and they see a few on those mid-engine C8 beauties on the road.

The C8 will be added to the herd

I had a '96 GTS for many years - I miss its rawness but no ABS in that car was crazy!

The only thing wrong on the car is that ridiculous Front License Plate Bracket.

Unfortunately my 2015 Challenger had it already installed when I bought it from the Dealer. Four holes drilled into the brand new front bumper cover. What a pisser, but it was a Dealer Stock Car and the damage was done.

I removed it and fashioned a simple bracket using the two bottom holes. The Plate was much less conspicuous without that big plastic Bracket that Dodge uses. The Plate ended up lower and tilted in at the bottom to match the angle of the bumper cover. Took a little bending but it was a great improvement.

This was before we moved to a State that only requires a rear License Plate.

I bought a set of Bumper Plugs painted to match to fill the two top holes. Way overpriced but worth it.

What kind of person drives the Challenger withOUT the yellow protectors ? so bizarre

The ONLY people who take the highly coveted protective yellow covers off are taxi drivers, rental car agencies, and people who are strung out and need to sell the covers to score money to get high on crystal meth.

Actual owners enthusiasts leave leave them on as they should be.

DUH !!!

I decided to skip this generation after seeing the weight increase and lack of a manual. I’m shopping Miatas at this point, or a Porsche.

1050lbs of torque, 10 speed tranny, solid front axle, lockers on both front and rear end, and it looks so much better than the 2020 heavy duty. I can't get over their awful new design, especially the mirrors which are absolutely hideous. Also GM got their dickbeaters on the new "Allison" stamped 10 speed transmission. I predict a bunch of problems with it due to that fact alone.

The new 2020 6.7 Powerstroke destroys the 2020 L5P in every category.

No, but I did pick up a couple of 19 round magazines for my VR-80.

That sadly got lost in a boating accident recently...
