While I don't care for the red wheels, I wouldn't give a flip what anyone else thought about what I like. Life is too short to let the opinions of others have any sway in life.

I love the profile and the rear. I wish there was more options for the grille. It looks so big for a car that doesn't have front engine. Maybe someone will have a creative way to change the color layout to give it some character.

I didn't realize the headlights had a yellow bar in them. I like that more than the two white lights.

A thing I noticed is everything is politically correct unless it's age discrimination. It's ok to bash someone for chrome wheels claiming it slightly hurts performance as a rational (while zero people on this forum make money off a lap time ) but if someone speaks up about black, purple, hit pink wheels, you name it , it crosses the line. This is hypocrisy at its finest.

You can do what you want with your car. When a person posts photos of their car and ask for opinions that's what he gets. It sounds like a bunch of men here are like women, asking how look in a dress then getting offended for getting an honest answer.

I don't get people getting butt hurt over needing approval of others regarding their own car. How about this, if you want to post a photo of your car, can't handle an honest opinion just state in advance you are a neutered male, need a safe zone opinion that flatters your fragile ego so everyone knows in advance what they are dealing with .

Looks wise IMHO though to improve on OEM. I think OP pulled off with balance. A well done from me. Same for the Vossen car.

That said, C'mon..no cost in ride attributes and quality....?

Ron. It is with great sadness that yes there are members on this forum that think the red wheeled white car is a good look. Personally I find it nauseating as do you. I shake my head and wonder at many of the absolutely tasteless and ugly modifications made to cars on this forum. Many as bad as the most extreme ricer or low rider so called enhancements. Fortunately I can close my eyes real tight less I might be tempted to remove the offense eyes.

Anodized looking red wheels that are a couple of shades off of the calipers and the brake lights. Nothing else to tie these to anything...
If this isn't a photo-chop, then whoever took these pictures of their car needs to clean the lens on their potato and find some friends that will be honest with them. Is the OP just screwing with the folks that actually run Cicio Performance?
I'm nowhere near as old as you may think considering how long i have been here. I really do understand that times are changing / have changed and all that. I am as open minded and accepting as anyone you'll ever meet.
This is a friggin' nightmare.

Are your other 388 posts as sad as this one. I think it looks cool. I like people who bring joy to the world.

I think it looks terrible, although ride height is a definite improvement. But it's not my car, so they can do as they wish just like I will with mine.

Overall, I think the stance, size of the wheels and aggressive wing look good with this setup. As far as the wheels go, I think a wheel with thinner and less spokes with brushed aluminum centers/barrels and chrome lip or a dark clear tint would look better.

Why would there be "great sadness" over this customization? I doubt if anyone cares that this nauseates you.

Can you give the exact specs of the lowering springs or how it was done?

Vossen wheels are amazing. They are without question my brand of choice for our cars...bar none.

Here is a lower priced offering on a C8 from Miami. I really like the Ceramic Matrix Gray color - it's been growing on me. However, I think the entire black wheel thing is getting overdone and you lose the visual effect of the beautiful designs of these expensive wheels. I like dark - maybe a smoked gumetal, or spectra grey or something that is not silver but not black...there has to be a modern looking, semi aggressive, elegant middle ground. At least, that is what I'd shoot for in aftermarket wheels for my C7 Z6/Z7
Enjoy!

Slightly rice-racer-ish look but I think it looks great. Will definitely appeal to the younger among us interested in the C8. (And maybe so of the older guys too).

Are you kidding? Spend more time on the forum; better yet, pay attention to life in general. There are an abundance of people that care if your opinion doesn't match theirs.

I think this looks tastefully well done.

The only suggestion I could offer is to change the calipers from red to black so as to not be so distracting behind the wheels and allow the wheels to really pop -or- paint the calipers to match the body color if you want them to be seen.
