Is this a 2020???
I walk my dog every morning and I see this Corvette parked in the driveway along with 2 or more other cars. I stopped this morning and took a couple of photo's. Bear in mind this car has been here a few months, long before the first batch was shipped.
I cannot see how the driver can even get in the car they are parked so close together!
At first I did not think it was a 2020 but looking more closely it sure does look like one. The only explanation that I can think of is that it is a GM car? PS the other day it was parked between the other vehicles. No way to get in it!

Yes, that is a 2020 C8. It could very well be one of the CTF cars being driven by someone from GM. The VIN would tell us what it is.

I cannot get a VIN as it is in someones driveway but as I said it has been there for over a month or so. I have seen it driving around the area one time about two weeks ago. I just find it hard to believe that it is always parked outside!

Picture is too fuzzy, but it appears they might be dealer tags. If it's been there as long as you say, it is a car from the Captured Test Fleet (CTF), which they began producing at BG last August and continued through start of regular production in Feb.
About 500 CTF cars were built at BG. They are sellable units, and available to dealers who want them outside of the normal allocation process.

So they built 500 test cars? Who got them? Would they have the first 500 VIN numbers?
As for the fuzzy tag, as I said I took the picture from across the street. I am in Tennessee and that looks like a temporary plate that you get for a new car in this state. My interest stopped at the bottom of the driveway.

Sequential numbers in the VIN starts with 50 on CTF cars and 51 on regular production.
As I said, some were made available to dealers outside of the normal allocation process. Some of them are still in the hands of GM employees. Regular customers will end up owning some, if not most of them. The ones used by GM employees will probably eventually be made available as "certified pre-owned" cars with GM backing.
CTF cars were built at BG to refine the assembly line manufacturing process. They are supposedly identical to production specs. They are not the same as the engineering test cars that were built prior and often seen running around in camo prior to the reveal. Those cars have an "experimental" VIN and can't be titled and registered.

Good question regarding getting in/out, that is about the same distance my future C8 will be in my garage parked next to my XT4.
I have about 23 inches clearance from my GS to the XT4, without a problem opening the GS door about 3/4 of the way, will that be enough for my C8?

Why not simply ring the doorbell during the day time and inquire? The yard is not fenced and gated nor, posted.

It does not have a Tennessee State Tag on it. Nor a TN Prestige Tag either.
Haven't seen a TN Drive out tag in a while, to compare it too. It could be a new C8 as some have been delivered in TN.

OP said it has been there for "months":

Yes, that car is a 2020. As others have mentioned, most likely it is a CTF car if the owner has had it for several months.

You'd be surprised how many people have crammed stuff into their garage(s) so that only one, or no cars can fit in. Also, look at his next door neighbor with three cars outside, too. Could be true for him as well.

In my neighborhood there are more cars outside than in the garage! There are 3 car garages and the cars are still outside! They are junk rooms now not for automobile storage!
