I went by you on Rt. 58 in Abington about 5:45 PM Wednesday afternoon on my way home from work. You were parked at the body shop talking with the guys I live about 5 miles from there. Picking up my C8 this Saturday at MacMulkin. Black, 2LT, GT2 Adrenaline Red seats, Z51, FE4, Front End Lift. Cant wait

Congrats and enjoy.

On your comment, "you'll never want a manual again," that's not been always the case among owners of other great DCTs. I was initially ecstatic about my first DCT, but eventually got bored with it after a year or so. The same has occurred among many Porsche and BMW owners, which is why they brought manuals back. It may be a minority, but it's a strong minority.

Great Car!

Looking forward to center camera/mirror. Have always followed every car that was around me an attribute that partly to my 60 years of driving without a accident with another car (and Luck!) Not a big issue doing that with my 1988 Coupe, 1993 Coupe or C6 Coupe, 'reasonably good' view in the center mirror, BUT my 2014 Z51 and my current 2017 Grand Sport Coupes are poor. Particularly the Grand Sport with the Stage 2 Aero option that has rear wing extensions View in the rear is almost as bad as a Vert with the top up! Really need to see what AH barreling up on the right or left will soon be in your "blind spot."

Note, the pic below from the Owner's Manual, that the 2LT & 3LT Blind Sport Detection range of effectiveness is like my wife's BMW X5 SUV. Limited to just behind the rear fenders. Won't catch the AH barreling up behind you that will soon be there (the Warning Lael in the Manual mentions that problem.) The wide camera view is what's needed! Can't always look over your shoulder when forced to chage lanes!

Can't help but notice a small blip on the Economy Trend chart... well done, but there should be more like it!

Yall gotta be explicit in specifying which model and mode yer talking about. Base, Z51, or, Z51 w/ mag ride (and which drivin’ mode)? This is so those new to Corvette understand what their getting before they purchase. Many won't even get to drive the car before signing for it!

Similarly, if yur on the track, you outta specify which safety settings are on.

Very happy for you and pleased that a long-term Corvette appreciator added this beautiful C8 to his stable.

Hope you find great enjoyment in it.

Looks like that young man in picture #10 above might have designs on driving it.

Can you take a closeup photo of the contrast stitching on the passenger side please?
just hoping the photo going around of the bad job was just an anomaly.
thanks

Having carefully examined the stitching on other production C8's in many videos, it appears so far to be an anomaly. Caveat: the sample group is still small.

I was playing with all the modes will put up more plan on driving 200 miles this weekend To me the Z mode and track were real agressive and snappy steering and the throttle sport and touring were more st back do not rev as high and quiter. I found track mode at high speeds say 80 was real touchy would not drive in that mode full time or if you were cruzing on highway . Z mode with a push of a buttom makes you fell like a superhero lol

Is it the photo angle, or is the stitching on your airbag on steering wheel left side a bit off ?
