Default First C8 lowered on Vossen wheels

How did you C8 Guys miss this?

https://www.autoevolution.com/news/f...54.html#agal_1

Waiting for the next thread titled "First C8 gets Window Tint."

The C8 looks much better lowered, but hard to see the wheels without light manipulation of the image.

Well I was hoping I would like it a lot more once it was lowered with a nice set of wheels........just can’t get passed the god awful intake vent on quarter panel/door. Total screwup. Looks like a kindergarten boy cut up a shoe box and stuck it there.

That looks so much better than stock.. I usually don’t mind GM’s stock wheels on the Corvette. I thought the C7 had some nice wheel options. I’m not feeling the stock C8 wheels at all. But these look so much better. I hope GM changes up wheel options and choices with the C8 at some point.

It's my least favorite design aspect of the car. The only way to minimize it on a non-black car is to get the body-colored option. I ordered black.

Vibe...hire a new photographer, your business will increase. That C8 photoshoot is embarrassing. Just giving customer feedback man...car looks good...best I can see it anyway.

Agree. Photo's are way over exposed or something. Looks terrible. Totally washed out. Wheels are meh...more black wheels. Yay!

Thanks for the feedback brother. It's not Vibe's photographer. Vossen provided these photos but I don't even think they used their photographer on this. I'm sure they will do a new shoot soon with more clarity. I'll update the thread when I get the new photos.

How much is the car lowered? I am debating a 1/2" lower myself, I like the look of the white one.

I never seen a black wheel I like. I can't see the design of the wheel.

For the 20/21" setup you can do 245/30/20 or 255/30/20 fronts and 325/25/21 rears.

On 19/20" you can use OEM Tires 245/35/19 front and 305/30/20 rear.

Checkout the other mid-engine and rear engine cars, they all have side intake areas.

I am curious. I saw a youtuber mention the C8 is lower than the C7 (stock) and the front lift saved their butt. If you don't have the front lift and lower the car are you going to be scraping all the time?
