Default Henna Chevrolet - Austin, TX

Is there anyone here that has an order with Henna Chevrolet? If so what # allocation are you and what is your status code? I'm #22 at 1100 status. My salesman can't tell me where I stand on allocation and how many orders have been picked up by GM so I thought this would be fun for anyone who ordered at Henna to find out when our orders might get picked up.

Sorry to say Henna is the absolute worst dealer I've had the misfortune of dealing with. I hope everything goes well for you.

They have the information. I was told my order number and total allocations without asking. Try and figure out who the inventory or logistic manager is and call them.

I just called (after about a thousand tries) and was just informed that I am #12 today. I put my name down back in October 2021. I am starting to get a bit desperate. Any timelines for you guyes dealing with Henna? Anyone know the monthly allocations that this dealership get?

I ordered mine from an Michigan dealer and had it delivered to Henna in March 2020, their 1st one. Delivery experience was good and I like the service department. Haven’t dealt with Henna’s sales department but GM keeps everyone in the dark (including dealers) regarding order progress and future allocations. Just be calm.

They are not on the top 100 list so they get less than 50 per year. But it could be way less. Try to find out how many C8's they sold in 2021. That should give you a rough idea but remember that Stingray allocations may be reduced in 2022 as they ramp Z06 production.

I don’t disagree.
I downloaded the top 100 Corvette dealers list and that represented only 40% of the units sold. So 60% are sold by the smaller dealers that sold less that 35 units. I was a little shocked because the assumption was the top 100 dealers were where most are sold. That’s isn’t true.

Yes but there are around 3000 chevy dealers in the US so that 60% can be spread pretty thin. Some dealerships only got one allocation last year.

I also put my deposit in October 21. I can't get a answer from James. I just put a deposit with macmulkin just in case. Have you heard any news?

I can't speak to the ordering process at Henna (their new vehicle lot looked barren about a month ago when I was last there,) but their service department in regards to Corvette is the best in Central Texas. There are dealers in the Austin area that I would not bring my Corvette to for any amount of money. Mark Wilson is the Corvette Specialist and Service Drive Manager, he's familiar with many current Corvette topics and he'll work hard to make sure your Corvette gets the attention it deserves.

Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine is the largest volume Corvette dealer in Texas, and I hear they have a pretty good service department, as well.

My friend ordered his C7 from Henna and had a great experience. I had my C8 courtesy delivered to the fleet department, which was nightmare. Since you are ordering a new one, I would put a point on an excellent experience.
Sometimes it's who you get. We both got our C8 recently serviced for the 500 miles at a local dealership in San Antonio. I have a 22 C8, and they invoiced GM for oil, oil filter, trans fluid, and trans filter. They only did his oil/filter change on the invoice, and he has a 23 model, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I did not have a great experience with the service department, so that I won't be returning. I live in San Antonio, so Henna is not a short distance for a service appointment, but if the car needs more attention than a basic service, I might think about the drive.
