300 C8's listed on AutoTrader this morning
As of this morning there is 300 C8 Corvettes listed on AutoTrader for sale at MSRP (the amount is going up by the hour). I wonder how many of those are actually for sale and not going directly to customers? I am guessing a lot of dealers ordered some to have them sitting on their showroom floor.
There is one guy that is selling a used one for $115,000 which is nuts. Will even be crazier if he sells it.

Not a lot. Even though a car is sold, when it is invoiced it's placed in the dealer's inventory. An automated system will pull inventory each day and post that inventory on sites like cars.com and autotrader.

There is a 2LT for sale as low as $63K and change, it has the VIN in the ad...

So these look like real cars for sale? Going to their dealership websites I see the same cars available with more info. Some at MSRP, some small dealers still have em slightly below sticker. Seem to be real cars with real vins and window stickers ...haven't found one yet optioned how I want which I guess is a good thing since I don't think I can get a refund on my deposit anymore.

The link above says the car is not available. These online sale ads often offer cars they don't actually have access to. They simply cut and paste ads from other websites. All in a effort to push clicks.

There are 2 at my small dealer on AutoTrader. He told me on Monday that he expected his first customer cars next week and mostly everyone ordered Torch Red. Both cars are Torch Red... I'm just happy to see my dealer getting cars this early. Unfortunately my Vert order hasn't been picked up yet...

A local area dealer has two Z51s on the DEALER website - - - a Torch Red 2LT and an Elkhart Blue 3LT for sale at $7000+ below MSRP. What’s up with that?

I talked with that dealership...both cars are pre-sold and not available. They seem to be trolling for 2021 wait list candidates..

As @Gearhead SS stated, these are automated pulls from dealer inventory systems to Autotrader and like sites. These are almost all sold orders for cars that have been ordered by customers, they are not for sale and it is nothing any dealer did wrong. We just gotta finish the waiting game...
