The C7 Z06 rims are pretty darn close to the C6 ZR1 rims. I wonder if they will do the same again? I don’t think that would make the new Z06 a wannabe?

Yes, the rims in this these photos on this red car look much better!!

I personally don't like the black rims, as they hide the details and looking from the distance, the wheels look like disappeared and as if you have two black holes there on the car. You need brighter wheels to accentuate the shape of the wheel and add some balance to the overall car image.

That being said, to the OP: if you have to pick between these two dark ones, the second one looks much better, because the first one is too similar to the C8's stock wheels, and the second one has the sharpness from the sterns that added some character to the wheels.

I ordered the same colors HTC with standard aluminum rims with standard black calipers. I had originally chosen the carbon flash rims but dropped that option. I thought the aluminum contrast looked good. Based on your pics, I like photo 1.

Whichever one is lighter, they both look great.

I was looking at both of them rims....but I think I am leaning towards the MRR NES SS-2, in carbon flash....at least today I am, depends on which way the wind is blowing

Those look great. Similar to my first wheel. Such a tough decision. The second rim I have pictured is lighter but costs almost double so that is a factor too.

Might as well just stick with the OEM carbon flash rim.

I struggled long and hard thinking about it.... actually asked him to show me matte black and matte carbon flash (which is the reason he posted the picture! haha)

I ended up deciding on MS-5's in Matte black, like he posted on the picture. I thought the pics of the rims he posted were absolutely gorgeous... and I wasnt a fan of the carbon flash finish.

The big debate was matte vs gloss... I dont think there is a right answer, but I thought matte on the cars ive seen give it a nice look (at the risk of looking dirty). Selling the stock rims brings the price down to basically the black tridents...

Good luck with yours! Getting rims?

Those look a million times better than the C7 ZR1 design rims

I ordered my car with the stock rims with the intention to go aftermarket. I figured I would go carbon flash since i did the carbon flash option on mirrors and wing but now you got me wondering which way i should go. But my order has yet to be picked up, need 3 more allocations to drop over the next 2 months to get a 2020, so I got time to think it over and see what the early adopters do. I am hoping real world picks will help push me in the right direction.

Mine got produced 2/20/20 - I was going to get the black trident until I saw the price... and figured its basically same as aftermarket so I got boring stock ones. Already ordered from Carlos. I'll try to remember to post pictures when the rims are on the car so you can decide for yourself. I simply didnt think the matte carbon flash would match the gloss carbon flash (based on his pictures of the two center wheel hubs) - it seemed a bit off compared to the matte black. I may be wrong, maybe someone with more experience can answer.

It's been difficult - 5 star spoke like below, black vs CF, matte vs gloss.... here are teh two rims I was deciding between, and the matte vs gloss Carbon Flash... it might look beautiful in person!

So, which one did you go with?

Don’t you think the gloss carbon flash will match the paint on the car fine?

I think it would match it - probably perfect... but I dont think thats necessarily the look I want. In a similar fashion to chrome, plain silver, and black rims all not matching the carbon flash.

What? Get out. The lip is the only thing that makes that wheel interesting.
