Obviously a solution available to those worried about the reliability of the car.

If GM/Tremec was busy emulating the best parts of DSG/PDK, why didn't they copy the same emergency system they have where you pop one panel near the shifter (could be the cup holder in the C8 or built into the side panel next to the drivers leg) and have a manual release. Porsche, Volkswagen and Audi have this system in their cars and it isn't that difficult in a pinch.

So is there any owner method for getting the car in neutral? Or do we just have to let the flat bed driver drag the car up? I know GM has that special tool, but it appears it's only accessible from under the car? Better yet, when the car is unloaded at the dealer, how are they unlocking it to get the car into the service bay and on to the lift? I'm wondering if you can pull the trunk trim out and get at it?

But it could be as simple as a dead battery preventing the electronic controls from shifting the DCT out of park.
Nice detective work.
And you didn't lose your **** while conveying the message.

Except that that's not the same white C8 on the same flatbed lol. Look closer. At both the car and the way they are both strapped and colors of straps.

If a picture of a C8 being towed concerns you then you definitely have some more serious issues that have nothing to do with cars.

“Woodward” is close to GM tech center and a popular street to cruise if you are not familiar with the area. My friend has one on order and sees them all the time on Woodward.
Honestly, if you beat on the transmission and launch control it 15 times per day. It's only a matter of time until it breaks.

Wow, the car broke. The sky is falling.

Can't until the first customer car blows an engine or transmission. Will be the apocalypse on here.
