To those that have seen it in person, is there any metallic flake in the Ceramic Matrix Grey? There are no C7s in my area to go see the color on.

Having a hard time with online pics; is it gloss, is it matte, is it metallic... Depending on pic any of those look true.

Gotta lock my choice soon, call coming. Ugh.

In my opinion, there is a very small / modest amount of metallic in the ceramic matrix grey(CMG) color. I have long beach red on my '17 Z06, and by comparison, it has much more metallic than the CMG. I agree with you that CMG can look glossy, in bright sunlight, or under bright lights, but in other 'cloudy' conditions can look like a matt or satin, rather than gloss finish. I've considered the CMG for my C8 color, and have had your same concerns. Still undecided about color. Good luck with your decision!

Someone on the forum said the color looked like a “dirty white”, which totally turned me off.

It's a metallic... not a pearl and no, it doesn't have "a little" flake... it's a nice metallic just like any of the others. However, it only sows itself under bright sunlight.

My father loves the color... I personally wish it were a little more grey.

I closely examined a C7 in CMG. It was a cloudy day and just looked like a gray car. It was parked in the lot next to an Arctic white C7 and I disliked it. Sunlight pics seem to look better. I did note both lot cars hadn’t been washed and the Arctic White one didn’t look any dirtier (or cleaner) than the CMG. I’d look at the color in person before ordering it.

that’s what I thought but with the black tridents and in the sun it doesn’t seem to have any blue.

I have 19GS in CMG and have ordered C8 in same color. Get compliments all the time on color

Drove by the dealership today and tried my hardest to decide on one or the other. The CMG Car was indoors and looked so good. The Arctic White Car Was a stingray so it didn’t have all the add Components. The Trip Didn’t Help

Go back to dealer, have them bring CMG car outside. Then the white car will look very plain...

With the carbon 65 blue hash marks and the blue brakes it does seem to have a bluish tint to it.

I personally love the color, I came from a White and black 2014 Z51 when I got my Carbon 65. Seems it a love it or hate it color.

Saw a C7 on the highway in this color about a year ago and it looked AMAZING !! Made me wonder... what color is that ?!!

That's what I did last month to see CMG.
I called around Tampa Bay to see who had a 2019 CMG on the lot.
The saleman drove the car over to a spot in the sun, then moved into the shade.
Same car, same day, best way to do it.
