Is anybody else surprised to see so many exotic cars? I am shocked to see that an owner of a Ferrari, McLaren or Lambo would be interested in a C8...especially the non ZO6 version.
Why? A good car is a good car. I complain nearly everyday to my best friend and gf that I sold my C7 Grand Sport. I always say it’s one of the most balanced cars I’ve ever driven. I actually regret upgrading to the Z06. The Z is faster, but it doesn’t have the same balance. A real car enthusiast will just buy what they like and what’s affordable to them. I just love sports cars. I’m not ever buying anything for a brand name or to impress anybody else. I just want the awesome driving experience of whatever it is that I buy.
I traded my C7 for this Tesla Model 3 Performance. First time in 8 years I have not had a Corvette in the garage. A couple of things have me held me up on an order, I want to see how I fit in a C8 (See sig pic, my head always stuck out with a helmet on) and I want to see what the Z06 brings. Having fun with this car in the meantime.
I'm still a few years off from a C8 but for now I'm holding down the fort with an S550 Mustang GT that I like to take out to the road course fairly often.
Quick question - I'm thinking about ordering one but ceiling height is a little tight. How high do you have to raise the platforms to release the locks? Most sites state 2" but all I have is 1.5" and I'm hoping that's enough.
Chisel out 3/4 inches of concrete and set the base inside!
