Most people on this forum do not realize that Mike was a Division 1 collegiate wrestler at University of Maryland. Wrestling is quite possibly the toughest individual sport there is. Mental toughness is absolutely a requirement at that level of wrestling. Collegiate wrestlers will typically run up to 10 miles a day, resistance weight training for incredible external and internal core strength, wrestling practice in heated rooms up to 90 degrees for at least 3 hours, and do all of that while dropping weight to lower body fat percentages. Lean, mean physiques that go full out the entire match. No wonder Mike is the best Corvette salesman in the country. That sport creates driven people like that all the time.

Mike is a class act across the board. I would have been shocked had he not retained his long-standing #1 perch.

Congratulations Mike on another well deserved award. Not too long from now, we will acknowledge your 4,500th Corvette sold (an all time GM milestone for one person).

I don't understand why Chevy and Corvette don't train other dealers and sales reps using Mike's methods of doing business. He is an honest, straight shooter who is knowledgeable, nice, competent and enthusiastic. Obviously the way he works is highly successful and sustainable unlike so many others who simply try to rip off their customers. Corvette could sell a lot more cars if they did things Mike's way.

Congrats Mike. Well deserved.

Apparently you don't know about Jordan and his wrestling team's doctor Strauss.

Congrats Mike. Well deserved.
Speaking strictly for the Chevy dealers in South East Florida, the Corvette sales people down here are really pushed to sell as high priced as possible and as quickly as possible. The norm is to put $5,000 to $10,000 ADM on top of any car that is showing a demand in interest. The idea of never selling any car above MSRP is a foreign language to them. I have never been able to buy a new high performance Chevy car here in South Florida. Bomnin Chevrolet has two dealerships (Top 10 Corvette Sales) in south Dade county and are currently taking deposits on C8's at MSRP. What they do not tell you is that they have an $899.00 dealer fee and tag fees are double most other dealers. Plus if you do not speak Spanish, you are pretty much out of luck. Stingray Chevrolet in the center of the state has been the closest dealer for me to buy HiPo Chevy's, (NEVER above MSRP and $99.00 dealer fee) but all of my Corvettes have come from a dealer up north. They just seem to be more honest and their word is their bond, a totally foreign concept in South Florida. Maybe because there are so many rich people down here that simply do not care about putting an extra $10,000 down on a car so long as they have the first one. I love the weather here and never have to put my car away for the winter but when it comes to buying Corvettes I have to go north where the people are honest and down to earth.
