So they are accepting base model orders to be built accompanying the other models.

Same here. My Convertible went to 3000 this morning. TPW's for convertibles at 3000 could be issued as early as next Monday. Furthermore, convertibles are scheduled to begin production on April 6.

Congrats, OP !!!!! Wonder if they are getting a jump on things by a few days, or a week ???

For those of you who posted today that you moved to 3000 TODAY, was your order picked up last Thursday ??? I pinged the Corvette Concierge last night, fully expecting them not to see it until today for an update, and surprise, they answered me at 9 pm saying I am still at 2000. My order was picked up last Thursday.

UPDATE....After seeing so many of you say you moved to 3000 this morning, i pinged my dealer and he sent me a screen shot also showing a move to 3000 !!!!! One step closer...... Next, awaiting a TPW.

From what I understand, when a dealer is given an allotment (number) of orders on any given Thursday that can be picked up by the factory and changed to 3000 event code, that dealer has until 7 PM central time on the following Monday to submit those orders. (this past week it was until Tuesday because of the Monday holiday). That gives the dealer time to contact those customers and go over their orders to see if there are any changes or to inform the customer that a particular option is on constraint. At that time a customer can keep their order as planned, change or cancel their order .My dealer called me yesterday to inform me that my convertible order is to be submitted and picked up, and when I checked this morning, my order was at 3000.

Very nice classic design (red outside, tan inside) Also love the wing. Looking forward to pic and your thoughts after you take it for a spin.

I saw a bunch of VINs at Spring Mountain as well. Those cars were all pre-production unit and had a different VIN sequence (L5000001-L50000xx) and a 0 as the 12th digit. I didn't see any with a production VIN sequence like your car (L5100001-L5100xxx) which has a 1 as the 12th digit.
