Default So who has actually ordered aftermarket wheels?

And who did you go with? I'm ready to order by still vacillating which wheel to go with. Haven't purchased aftermarket wheels for years, but this car NEEDS them......

Anybody know the deal why the black trident wheels are a special order in addition to what ever you get on the car from factory? Wonder why you can't just get the car with them like other choices...I am ready to go with the spectra gray tridents but the black sure looks nice.

a) because the factory wants you to spend more money
b) because the factory knows you won't like the std wheel selections.

I went with Carlos's beautiful M755 ZR1 replicas from MRR. He posted a pre-order sale on the site (sponsor) in the summer. Not sure if that pricing is available anymore, but still nicer than the OEM imo.

Welll O.P. if you have not gotten the car yet I would wait until it arrives and by then there should be several more styles offered. Also, after there are cars on the ground some of the companies will be taking measurements from customers cars and developing new wheels ( I would imagine ). Get your car with base wheel and wait for a larger selection.

I'm waiting to see the many choices actually on the real car when it comes out before I make my decision.

Obviously don't have the car yet, but I am in first allocation so should be here in March and really want to change the base wheels out. But might have to wait a while to see what comes out after a few months.

I am waitin on the Z car(s) so they should have some different wheel options but if I was buying a base C8 I do think the base bright wheels look quite handsome and they would be my choice. As for aftermarket wheels, I had HRE P101's (mono block forged Made in the USA from aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum) on my former 911 Turbo and really liked them so that would probably be my starting point, but four of them will set you back $10K+.

Huh? No they aren't. They are exactly the same size as the other wheels. There was a typo in the ordering guide early on that was corrected.

I've preordered the MRR/NES forged FG08's from Carlos - will trade the base wheels to MRR or sell them. Carbon flash to match carbon flash stripes and trim on a CMG coupe.

Default Hre p101

I'm going to wait for 2021(have Chevy workout some bugs).
When ordered, most likely color is Blade Siver.
HRE P101's in brushed dark clear shown here:

I got wheels from Carlos. Fg02. I just wasn’t impressed with any of the c8 wheels that were offered. So I got the no extra charge stock wheels.

We have only seen the tip of the iceberg on the great aftermarket wheels available for the C8.

I've had great luck with BC forged and VS Forged. Not super pricey but outstanding quality.

I've not ordered wheels yet, but like a lot of you didn't care for any of the factory options. So I ordered the standard wheels and will be buying aftermarket. Once I know when my car is coming I'll shop more seriously, but I've seen some I really like from Vossen and Rohana. In a perfect world I'll have a set ready for delivery day and have the dealer swap them on for me.
