1st hands-on C8 dealer training - SIGNED UP!
Booked Monday, huge deal and opportunity. It was a tough class to find in our system but really pumped to bring you first hand account of the car, driving etc
The training sessions are Top of the mountain ( no pun intended ie; at Spring Mountain )when it comes to Corvette training there.
My Corvette tech Chuck and myself will be there 12/3 - 12/4 truly a special time indeed ( in more ways than one!)

Can't wait to go back there when I get my C8.
Thought I would never track my 2016 C7 (35 track days now) but that experience changed my mind!

I was also going to do the 12/3-12/4 class but the owner can't go on that date so we may due later in December or January

It would be nice if GM subsidized Spring Mountain like they did with the C7. I guess sales are strong enough to not have to throw in that value-add...
People will still need some amount of training for a mid-engine. You know, to reduce the number of totaled cars that end up at a CO PART auction.

Oh gee.. I don't know. Maybe HPDE training / track time in a ME might have some differences from that of an FE. I wouldn't go so far as citing that winning a candidate for a Darwin Award is the next step for someone who buys a C8. There might be intermediate decision points between signing the purchase agreement and .... Receiving the Darwin award.

I don’t know. Maybe they were afraid people wouldn’t know to drive a rear wheel drive performance car? Especially if they were coming from something they were told was a performance car, like the FWD Hyundai Veloster. That could be tough for some people.
or maybe as a sales incentive instead of a more costly cash rebate. Given the order backlog on the C8, maybe they did not feel a need for it.
