The C8's fighter cockpit interior
Hey Guys...been lots of talk about the "fighter cockpit" interior, as an AE at a certain American defense contractor I never really saw it...thought you may want to see an actual F-35 simulator cockpit.

Point taken, and now one back.
We know that already. NO ONE is under the mistaken impression that a C8 cockpit is anywhere near like a REAL FIGHTER COCKPIT, Okay? It's just that we would like the illusion that the controls surround us in such a way that we are in charge of the illusion of making the C8 fly. The more buttons the better. There's no reason to remind us that they are all HVAC controls. The point is that they look cool. Heads up Display "JUST LIKE" a jet fighter? Check, 'cept maybe without the radar lock onto UFOs part. Accelerometer? Check. Only goes to 1G, but I won't tell if you won't. The point is, on those twisty mountain roads, is to revel in the moment and ENJOY the driving experience. And if we can pretend it is "just like flying," why not? The point is to enjoy the experience. And if anyone feels compelled to point out the non-reality of the experience, they are completely missing the point. Capiche?

Well, I guess we're going to have to spell it out, aren't we? OP, being in the business, would like us all to know what a REAL fighter cockpit looks like. His major point is that the C8 cockpit does not look AT ALL like a REAL fighter cockpit, and we are all terribly ignorant to be calling it such. A REAL fighter cockpit has no glitz, no carbon flash, no fancy design. It is intentionally functional and absolutely NOTHING is at all subtle. After all, when you need to hit a particular button with gloves on, you can't afford to hit the wrong one. If OP were to take us through the functionality of the cockpit design, assuming he had anything to do with it at all, I'm sure we would be taught exactly why some ugly button has been placed where it is to enhance the functionality of the pilot so he can carry on his mission to target and shoot down bad guys or whatever.

Here's my take on the interior...
Remove the button wall from the equation... the interior goes up to a solid 9...
And nobody wants a fighter cockpit lol.

Oh, h#ll NO! ^^^^
My C7 has a Corvette interior. Not since the C3 has Chevrolet made an acceptable interior. I had to have one, once I saw the improvement from the C5/6 = Yugo interior.
That oblong steering wheel of the C8 is 1,000% gimmicky.
