Amen... I'll pass on CF unless it is to save weight. My current car has a carbon fiber drive shaft. I don't see it, but the weight savings... yes please.

I love seeing carbon all over the European cars... that weigh over 4000 pounds 🙂

Not a lot of cars do that.
And if it looks like leather is it?

There is absolutely no way I'd pay $1495 for those interior CF bezels. That's insane

Only if they pay you $1495 to take it!

Yes you get it! The $1500 is worth it! This is the only carbon fiber package that everybody should get. It is reasonably priced for what you get!

I guess most of y’all have not shopped real supercars...

I will be writing a check for the full purchase price and don't consider the option "frivolous". It's a matter of personal choice.

It only matters if it is worth it to you. It doesn't matter what others think.

Its not worth $1500.

But I ordered it anyway because I think it looks better than the base painted plastic trim pieces.

Isn't just the trim piece around the LCD panel painted plastic? I thought the other pieces were aluminum? If they are just painted silver/faux aluminum I’d be more apt to order the carbon fiber package as well. Still think it’s about $500 overpriced.

There are several versions of CF vinyls that look very convincing now.
Whenever I see a carbon fiber wrap it makes me think of a ricer. In my opinion never put fake carbon fiber wrap on anything. People will notice it and just laugh.

Yes, it would be worth it to me. The aftermarket stuff never fits properly and is a pain to install and never looks as good and installing a carbon fiber wrap over anything is just silly.

Not a lot of cars do that.
I would say any car with a starting price over $50k does this. It is not unique to the C8.

I think a gloss CF wrap will look identical to this, have the same look and same weight savings (zero).
