Default Red C8 at the World Series

Don't know if it's going to the MVP or what but it's on the field.

I wonder if they actually get that one, or they’ll have to wait until sometime next year to actually take delivery?

Well they handed him the keys, so I'm guessing there is at least one privately owned C8 on the streets shortly after the DMV opens tomorrow!

He won’t get the car anytime soon. Not until they start building them. I’m sure he will get to pick the one he wants also.

All of the currently seen C8s are pre-production models and they all have an EX suffix on the VIN. They'll all end up in the crusher, unless GM retains some for their private collection.

Yeah the presentation is all for show. Theres probably alot of paperwork involved. This is probably one of the pre-production models that have been touring the country. Lucky him to get one although he could afford a Bugatti cash.

Think of the MVP as a contestant on a game show that wins a car. The winner is not given the car that is shown on TV. Instead, they are given an MSRP amount and can pick out a vehicle up to that price, or pay the difference for a more expensive one. Doesn't even have to be the same model that they won.

Yeah, it's not like a major league player couldn't afford any car they want. But stil, I thought it was a nice commercial for the C8. It looked really good on TV.

While it’s true any Major Leaguer could afford a far more expensive car, winning and actually owning THE C8 that was awarded to the 2019 World Series MVP has a coolness and value and collectibility factor that’s unique to any C8.

...like this. Run of the mill green ‘67 roadster, pretty cool down the road.

I wonder if they keep or donate them.

Tom Brady gave away his Chevy Colorado during Super Bowl XLIX to Malcolm Butler who intercepted the Seahawks at the last second. Ha.
