How will it age... (looks-wise)?

I asked my friend who doesn't know a damn thing about cars. Says he thinks the C8 looks the second best of these and that the McLaren is hideous. Honestly for a car thats a 1/4 the price of everything else here. It's pretty nice.

It will still look great compared those butt ugly self driving cars of the future with all that ghost buster clap-trap on the roof!

This car was made before 1999 and I think it looks pretty fine.
Gorgeous styling, all biz inside. Not filled with a bunch of dials buttons or useless fluff.
The ME is neat but will never be an exotic.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't designed to be. I don't think any vette could ever be considered an exotic.

There is so much right with the new C-8 I don't see how any car enthusiast would not want to own one. To me this is the most important attribute a car must have for it to become a classic.
In fact I want one even though I already own a perfectly nice Vette now. I'll be getting one next year as the availability starts to match the demand. I've owned my '66 427 Coupe since 1987 and intend to keep it. After all these years I still come back from a drive feeling that something special happened. So the C-2 will share the garage with the C-8 once I get mine. I think the C-2 is a classic and has aged well. I can't count the number of times I had people give thumps ups when they see it. So I don't think my personal bias for the looks of the C-2 is unjustified and that these old Vettes fall into the category of "classics.".
The design of the C-8 in my view will wear well as time goes on. Interior and exterior look good from any angle. There are the odd comments on the Vette forums about the new car's view from the rear. That's OK since aesthetics are a personal judgement. Frankly, I like the new car's back end and think it has the same presence as my C-2 has from that angle. You be the judge...

Personally, I would call a Corvette Z06/ZR1 a supercar. If it only needs to be fast it certainly checks the boxes.
An exotic though? Nah. Exotics are cars you see once every so often that are out of reach of 95% of people. A BMW i8 is more exotic than a Corvette but it definitely isn't a supercar.
edit: Can maybe consider the ZR1 exotic.

Last of the dying breed with a manual shifter..15 years old and still looks like just came out of the factory. Timeless lines, will C8 look just as gorgeous 15 years later?? Time will tell..

Those wheels make the car... that looks very good. I like the wing too. The basic Gallardo with the basic wheels and standard body does nothing for me anymore.

Far more attractive than most cars on the road. Definitely attention grabbing. I don't think it's very good looking compared to today's exotics though.

i LOVE my red/tan 360. I think it is truly timeless. I don't care at all for the 430 that came after. The c8 reminds me of that.
ill likely get one to replace my C7 as a daily driver in a few years as its a tremendous value. I just don't get why the styling is at least a decade old
