C8 Scissor Doors
Who wants them ? Why didn't Chevy just do them factory ? Who thinks they will show up on the Z06 or Zora/ZR1 ? What would a conversion cost ?

Someone will probably offer a kit eventually. You could do the conversion if you like, however I predict resale value suffering.

I have to admit that they would be cheezy on a C7 or earlier gen vette but they wouldn't look out of place on the C8. Also, it's pretty tough to look like a bigger douche than the guy rolling slowly through Cars and Coffee with his scissor doors up...

Perhaps GM considers it a safety issue. Makes it more difficult to extract occupants from a car that's upside down.

I'd like them for practical purposes. The doors are big and long, difficult in tight spaces and the garage. Doors that go up are certainly easier in those places. I'd never do an aftermarket swap but if GM did it factory it would be very useful

I would like them, especially for the C8. It will never happen as long as Tadge is there. He told me at the Birthday Bash in front of a room full of people that he's not a fan of scissor doors.

Don't need the doors, you can always play douche opening and closing the spyda.
