Rapid Blue constraints

If you're good with multiple colors, but prefer the light blue, then it might not be a big deal.
I would say the question is this - when you're driving around in your car and you see the rapid blue, are you going to remember you got to drive yours 3 months early or are you going to have regrets?
Skip the regrets. No one wins when regret plays.

I just talked to Tommy Jr about the Rapid Blue & other issues. I am now number 145 out of 280 first wave. Nobody can commit with the strike ongoing. Just as we all surmised, if the strike doesn’t go long, then a spring delivery would be a reasonable assumption is his guess. I would be one of the first produced and delivered. If the strike goes months then all bets are off for any color.
On a different note, what a pleasure to chat with the owner. It is obvious why he carries the legacy he does. Whether I go Rapid Blue or Torch Red, I know that I chose the best dealership. Great Forum!

Not sure but as time marches on even with the strike GM suppliers are still preparing their delivery materials to GM...
wouldnt the delivery of materials put an end to constraint timeline by the dates previously posted?

These weren't really constraints, they are controlled releases for the factory floor. I don't see that changing.

I understand what you are suggesting and agree (factory has all the parts in stock for production). The next "constraint(s)" would be 1. when does actual C8 production begin 2. how many can they produce on the line to "catch up".

Easy answer...get the color you want...that is the most important thing about a car and the most "spiritual"

Just saw this 2020 Chev Bolt ... I Guess it’s not an exclusive C8 color
