I am really concerned about parking in my third car garage!

Maaaan I have complete and utter garage envy. I'm lucky enough to have a full car garage in NYC, but my wife likes...stuff. I like things but she likes stuff. The only blue car that gets parked in my garage is my 14 month old's Step2 push car.
I'm trying to buy the old lady next door's house just for her garage.

I have a home with a standard three car garage. A double garage and a single third car garage. I will be parking my C8 in the single third car garage. My concern is that the door winglet sticks out so much that I won't be able to open the door wide enough to enter the car. My previous Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari 360 and C5 Corvette was doable but tight. Should I be concerned?

20 inches will not allow access unless you are much more nimble and thinner than the person measuring the door opening at Carlisle. He was about 5'10" and looked about 190 lbs. He concluded if someone parked close to him in a parking lot he could not get in unless he had at least 30 inched to open the door. He also concluded that climbing into the driver's seat from the passenger side would be a challenge if the top was in place. Maybe he is a forum member and will post his findings on this discussion.

Perhaps park something from the two-car side in the third car spot, and put the C8 in the two-car side.

If the issue is opening the door to exit in the space allowed then I have a potential work around. It's going to require you to be sorry thought.
My suggestion is to roll in with the roof off and the windows down. The sills are narrow enough where you should be able to jump right in without opening the door.

To deal with a similar problem with my wheelchair ramp van, I angle it so that the non-exit side is nearly touching the wall, giving extra room on the exit side. Doing that with the Corvette would necessitate backing out before anyone could access the passenger side, of course.
Depth isn't as much concern as I have 2 shorter cars in there 14' and 13' long. The C8 is longer then the C7 though, so it will be tighter with the lawnmower behind it sideways.
The width is the problem with 2x wide vehicles. Currently I have to pull in frontwards for one and back in the other, leaving a foot or so room in the middle with inches to clear mirrors and a little over 2' to the walls on either side to get in the drivers side. If the C8 is much wider or needs more room to exit then that. It's going to require overlapping the mirror space and require folding in the passenger side mirrors to gain some more space or moving the backed in car out to get the pull in car out. (Which would suck. )

Who says you can't modify an exterior wall? Put a bump-out in it. Otherwise, as suggested, back in at an angle, giving the driver room to get in and out. Load passengers after you are outside the garage. Always leave the window down as well, since it makes it a lot easier getting in and out. Or as suggested put the C8 in a bigger space, and the car that occupied that space in the single car garage or in the driveway. I'm sure you will figure this conundrum out...

If you're a fat bastard like most Vette owners, lose some weight, then you won't need to open the door as far. I'm sure your belly protrudes more than the edge of the door. Also if you own the other cars like you say you can afford a personal trainer, or a trained monkey to park it for you.

I'm worried I won't have the room either. Gonna have to move the helicopter back up to the roofpad.
