Pics of C8
The C8 was at Stone Chevy today ! Pretty cool car . To me you have to take your eyes off the road and look over to the right to see which buttons you want to push. The engine is in there TIGHT !!

And like I said you have to take your eyes off the road and take a good look to find the button you want to push . The more you use the center buttons the more I'm sure you will get to know which one is which .

Heck... youll spend more time scrolling through the touch screen trying to find the button that's right there...after a little while it will be intuitive and quicker on the side bar...
Evert time I see new posts of the C8 .... I want to change my color....mow I want the EL Blue...

Once you become familiar where the buttons are in relation to the temp and fan speed toggles, you'll be able to find everything with hardly a glance. Also notice that the buttons have a gradual depression so each one feels different.

Thanks for the pics.
Yeah, it may get dirty and get the blue jean rub, but I still love Sky Cool Gray!

That would help a lot . Like I said I just bought a '19 GS so I have no dog in the race , just wanted to see the new vet !
I was told yesterday that the engine had to be dropped to change the plugs but they are good for 100,00 miles so most of the buyers will never have to change them !!

Bottom line, I agree that while the flying buttress button row may not be the most elegant design aspect of the car, at least there are physical buttons you can eventually develop some "muscle memory" to find in a hurry while carving canyons. I also appreciate that they are actual buttons with tactile feedback and not just capacitive touch like the infotainment screen.

I can say it probably isn't the quality of the leather, but the high bolstering. I have scuffing like that in my Merino leather M4 bolsters. I am very careful, but it is inevitable after years of usage.
I just think the accelerated wear in the tour cars is a result of thousands of people who likely aren't very careful with the studs on their jean pockets going in an out of the car. Think about how many times that area has been brushed. I'd say millions. In your personal car you won't get in an out that many times and no matter how good the leather quality is, it is a material that will get worn down eventually.

Look again. The fan speed and temperature buttons have toggles on them, and the HVAC buttons are sunken in.

The blue is pretty sharp. Needs black wheels though.
