Find a 3D print house, Shapeways is the big one, check their forums and find an expert to get it ready, then start cranking those babies out in any scale you want. First to market makes the big bucks! Hurry!!

PS - Missed out on a model of this one in your favorite scale? Hum3D has it, too:

This must be CAD from Chevy. After exporting for STL, Shapeways would knock this out. Nice link!!!

Don't forget the GM licensing or a lawsuit if not licensed to sell.

The elves at the North Pole are on strike. Plus the Tier 1 supplier that sends the tiny cast wheels only had chrome, so it’s gonna be a while.

They're tweaking the DCT, dialing out the oppressive understeer, expanding the footwell to accommodate a clutch pedal while redesigning the central tunnel for the manual gearbox. Additionally, they're searching for a micro Randy Pobst to test flog the final model.

Don't get me started about the Z-cars.

The high wing spoiler comes separate and is attached by the hobby store maintenance man.

HOT NEWS - C8 Model Sightings

From the Facebook page 'Corvette Diecast, Models, and Collectibles' -

"Matchbox has a prototype we've seen, but nothing out on the market yet that I know of."

So we can assume that one is in the sorta "1:64ish" scale of the typical Matchbox car (you know that 'scale', it's the one where dump trucks and Mini Coopers fit in the same size package.).

Actually, I'm on your side but Maisto is a mass market source and the best way to get lots of models to public worldwide. We can hope for something classier later.

In order to time the launch of a scale model close to the launch of a new car, they need CAD drawings 6-12 month before launch. This has bitten a number of European manufacturers in the butt when photos of the model leak before the debut of the actual car. My guess is Chevy wanted to keep this under wraps till the debut of the car. Waiting a bit longer won’t kill anyone... 😁

Default Corvette Models

There's a company taking preorders for a resin model due out in March. $159 too much for a model with no opening doors or hood.
My opinion.- Jeff
