C8 @ Carlisle---Rock Star status
I spent three days at Carlisle and a lot of time around and inside the new C8.....incredible car. Just like its predecessor C7.......photos just doesn't cut it with this car....you have to see it in person to really appreciate this beauty. I clearly remember all the negative comments when people first saw the C7 in photo and on the computer screen....once people saw the car in person it changed a lot of attitudes.....same thing will happen with this awesome world class sports car. Job very well done Team Corvette!

I was really surprised how much more I liked it in person. I actually thought in person it doesn't look near at big as it does in photos. When comparing it to a nearby C7 it just looked smaller. I know they are basically the same size, but it didn't seem that way to me. It's a really sharp looking car.

I was also there for 3 days and it was just insane around the GM tent & showroom building? The crowd was a lot bigger this year than in the past few years!!

A few people in line with me was wondering if they were going to fit, some taller than me (6'4) and none seemed to have issues.
It is really nice in person, now let's see how it all shakes out.

That progression of pictures is really funny.....stand back, stand back.....and then they swarm over the car.

I agree, the wide body versions are going to be incredible. I cannot believe GM would not allow the car to be in the parade and displayed downtown Carlisle. I would say the missed a great opportunity for publicity, but they are not going to need it... Well done. In my opinion, color makes a huge difference on these cars, the red and white shows all the lines, the greyish was meh.
