What do you guys think?

Worth the $995?

Does this package include red/silver engine cover?

lol, I think it's a necessity if you care about the see through engine glass, you obviously want people to see it lit up in all it's glory. It's just another $1000 out of the $80k+ you will be dropping on your fully loaded C8. I mean if you **** your pants...what's another fart?

I'm going with it, I just wonder if it's lit while you're driving.

Don't quote me on this but I think it's a red cover with wet CF bits and LED's.

From what I can see from the photos, I think they just need make a hood for it. Nothing transparent.

Perhaps it will look better in real life?

I'm gonna say no on the engine appearance pack. Not really interested in the CF parts and the LED lights I'm sure you'll be able to get much cheaper aftermarket.

Seems expensive for what you're getting. But I would still be tempted to order it.

Maybe eventually once some aftermarket CF is produced for the car, someone could DIY the option for half the price. Ikea sells selectable multi-color LED strip for $25.

I've bought some aftermarket CF replacement parts from ebay for my motorcycle. They look just as good as oem, but cost much less.

I'd rather put that money towards new wheels. I HATE the Z51 wheels. Will be the first thing to go for me.

The lit engine compartment reminds me of the guys who run their Hondas with flashing undercarriage and license plate surround lights. Seems infantile to me. The car speaks for itself.

I don't think it's nearly as ricey as flashing undercarriage lights.

But maybe to flashy for some.

I think the only cars GM has been parading around have been loaded 3LTs, all of which have had engine packages. I don't care about the LEDs at all, but I do like the CF parts, so I'll be ordering it.

It's pretty cool. But really need that Red engine cover to make it all pop..

Aftermarket will come out with a kit for this done better. Like the Huracan has. Strip of LED... instead of a two bulbs.
