Pretty disappointed in them. They didn't do this when I bought my last one at launch.

We also have freedom of speech, so if someone wants to tell us a dealer is charging $5K ADM, then they have a right to do so, and people have a right to hear it. If YOU don't want to hear it, then click Back on your browser, and go to another thread.

Maybe they figured the demand was too high and wanted to profit... Capitalism is not a bad thing, hell of a lot better than Socialism.... It's just up to you if you want to give them your business. It works both ways.

Do you have any idea how any Chevrolet dealers are called "Rydell"?

Sorry, I didn't study the naming habits of dealerships in college. But a smart person would infer the c8 tour is stopping at a Rydell dealership tomorrow and go check the C8 tour dates at the top of the forum.

But it's Rydell in Northridge, California

And??? SMH, what business of someone is it to worry about what a business charges for their goods? If you don't like it then go buy from someone else! You can get the same bottle of water from 5 different retailers and a few might cost up to 50% higher!

Stupid of dealers to try to charge ADM when so many others are committing to MSRP. Most people would be willing to travel across state lines to save $5k+; it's a no brainer.

Sacramento sells **** for Corvettes. I have 5 dealers within 30 minutes of my house. All are $15k-$20k over. And they’re ordering the car in their spec. You’re buying it off the lot.

Never mind all this market adjustment non sense, you people realize this is a mass produced car which will drop in value fairly quickly and essentially with zero exclusivity, be a little patient and you'll get it under MSRP.

Do yourself a favor and buy from one of the MSRP dealers, consider a museum delivery, I bought my ZO6 from a dealer in North Dakota and did the museum delivery, an extremely rewarding experience worth every penny spent, Cali dealer wanted $10k+ on the ZO6 at the time.

Ah, so mind reading is part of the requirements now. Got it! I notice you don't have location in your details. I simply never figured I had to look in another thread to figure out WTF you meant.

Yeah they are closest to me then most dealers so I was disappointed to learn they want +5k over so my deposit went to Bob Stall @ MSRP.

I'm in Florida, buying from a dealership in Kentucky. Shipping is not that expensive.

Which is why I go to Abel Chevrolet. The Sac area dealers are hot garbage.

No we don't.

Auto sales are anything but the free market. If it was, car companies could sell direct without government interference.

With three dealers in the bay area publicly at sticker I don't get how they can get away with ADM.
