Anyone have any idea what this is on all the C8 ?

Just curious, I see these yellow " plunger buttons" on all the tester cars dash, anyone know what they are ? Cut off of gas/fuel in case of fire ??
Got my curiosity spiked regarding these devices on the dash.

Digital update of the ol' pine-scent deodorizer.
