2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Its not that tough. I had a 458 coupe and a 458 spider. Both are really great cars but.... you really can't use them as daily drivers. You're worried where you park it, you worry some idiot is going to run into you, you worry about how many miles you put on it, you worry about it attracting too much attention. Few people use them on long haul trips cross country. The front trunk is a pretty good size but not enough for 2 people with luggage. Unlike the C8, there is no rear trunk space and almost nothing in the interior.
I had my 458 one week and someone gave it a nice door ding into that beautiful aluminum skin. $250 later after the work of a master at paintless dent repair, it was gone. But people are idiots or vindictive or both. And I don't want to pay $250 every time I park the car.
If you are just wanting to know which you should have for a Sunday drive and can afford it, the 458 wins hands down. The engine at 9,000 rpm will make your hair stand on end. But they are expensive to fix and when they are in the shop, expect a week or 2 before you see it again.
I don't think people should knock either car. You buy a Ferrari because you want a Ferrari. And if you've not driven one its difficult to understand what marvelous machines they are. The C8 is a cheaper and more practical expression of something Ferrari started in 1999.
Bottom line: Buy the one that makes your heart goes faster that doesn't empty your bank account.
If you want something that is more practical yet still exciting as a daily driver, go for the C8

Definitely Ferrari or Lambo if money isn't a factor. However, I tend to gravitate towards cars you don't see everyday.

458. But just be aware of running costs. While I've not owned V8 Ferraris, I've had several V12s and they come with horrendous operating costs. And while the dollar amount isn't what bothered me, it is the fact that such costs and problems exist at all, or what a good friend calls the 'Ferrari tax.' Just because you can afford one doesn't mean you want to pay what it costs. 458s seem to be retaining their value pretty well. Whatever you buy, you won't be wrong.

How is the corvette even a serious option? ....

It should be if you love cars, which this fellow apparently does. I would rate my C7 Z06 equal to or better than any Ferrari I've ever had or my McLaren 570GT. And the Z06 was $140,000 less. McLaren and Ferrari certainly draw attention on the street, but not (from my experience) a super-enhanced driving experience.

There is only one answer if it is a daily driver and will see the elements - C8.

You obviously have money so corvette is out of the question.
If you will mod your car, then get the Lambo. Nothing cooler than a exotic wrapped twin turbo lambo.
If no mods, get the Ferrari and call it a day.

The Ferrari is just the sexiest car on the planet IMHO and takes exhaust to a new art form. For me in the real world, the C8 would be the only realistic option (my garage isn't that big and currently we're only a 2 car household).

Yeah not sure the tough choice. I want a Ferrari, I can't afford a Ferrari, so I bought a C7. The C8 came out and looks more like a Ferrari, so I put a deposit on a C8.

I can't imagine why anyone would cross-shop these cars. If money is no object get the Ferrari. It's much more exclusive, 6 months from now you're going to see about 3 C8's per day on the street. If you want bang for the buck and don't care about exclusivity, get the C8
