Not sure why people continue hate on Rapid Blue. The ME car is exotic looking and needs modern colors. Has anyone looked at Porsche paint schemes lately? Most of which are paint to sample and can cost upward of $25K.
Time to move away from painted hood liners and boring colors like nail polish red aka Long Beach Red 😁.

The move to a ME was already enough to ruffle the jean short, white new balance corvette purist’s feathers. Don’t expect them to warm up to modern, exotic colors that easily...

I think it’s great Chevy has expanded the color palate to 12 colors including a couple new ones. They need to mix it up more often. While I am not a fan of the Rapid Blue or the new yellow, there will be many who are. A poll in another thread indicates some pretty strong support for Rapid Blue. We all have our favorites and should buy what we like.
Porsche offers 17 colors on the new 911 including four standard and 13 optional extra cost colors. They do offer custom paint to sample but “most” buyers choose from the available 17 colors. Here is segment from an interesting Porsche article about the most popular of their colors worldwide and I suspect that anecdotally this applies to most automotive brands as well:
https://www.porsche.com/usa/aboutpor...iew/article08/
In addition to standard and metallic colors, Porsche offers a large number of special and individual paint jobs. Preferences differ widely according to the customer’s native region and, to some extent, the selected model series. Black, white, and gray dominate the selections for all model series in Europe and the United States. In Europe, Jet Black Metallic is the most common choice for the 911, the Cayenne, and the Panamera. In the U.S., customers prefer standard black only for the 911 and the Cayenne, while white is the favorite for all other model series. In China, the most common colors are white and Mahogany Metallic. For example, customers prefer the Cayenne in Mahogany Metallic and the 911 in white, followed by the special color Lava Orange. Generally speaking, about one percent of all customers opt for an individual color. Porsche encourages customers to explore all options, especially as part of the Exclusive Customer Consultation programs in Zuffenhausen, Leipzig, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dubai, and Shanghai. For example, when selecting the color for his 911 Turbo, designer and architect Carlo Rampazzi was inspired by a lobster-colored plate he had purchased as a young man on the Côte d’Azur. To Rampazzi, the color evoked memories of that summer and the sea. Porsche made his wish come true.

The car looks great in blue. It's a great colour as are many of the others. I'd lose the wing. I'm good with the ******* interior but we didn't get much of a look at it in the video. Is there an ivory interior option available? That would look good with the blue as well. Thanks for posting.
