Default It's like an Aventador vs Huracan!

Here is a C8 next to a GT3. It looks way bigger, and some may not like that but I do. It gives the impression of stability at high speeds, like an Aventador does when sitting next to a Huracan.

Good comparison size photo......

Especially since Porsche was used as the benchmark.

Why no shot from the other side? So disappointing.

This. Perspective is in the eye of the one with the camera in hand. Stand on the other side of the GT3 and see just how well perspective works out from a polar opposite angle.

at least it is a good comparison of the rear. The GT3 is clean, uncluttered. And the C8? It just looks......too damn busy.

Everyone just had to have the trunk space, so here we are. It looks great, but still.

Or the GT3 rear looks plain?

Maybe. But it don't look "busy." And THAT is my point.

"Chaos" vs "Plain", I'll take plain.

Compared to the new C8 rear fascia, my C6 Z06 looks plain (aka "dated"). But I think the rear fascia of the C6 Z06 looks a hell of a lot better than the new C8 rear design (and the rear of the C7 for that matter). And it took me all of 9 years of the C6 Generation to even appreciate the lines of the C6 Z06.

I am "hoping" the C8 Z06 (or whatever they title it) will clean up a bit more or at least look "better" in a wide body style.

But, if I had "Deep Pockets"? F-458/488 (Spyder) any day, along with a Porsche Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R by Gemballa. Those are my "Dream" rides.

Owning a Corvette has never been a dream for me. Never. But owning a Corvette is honestly what I can afford.

A photo from my album. Plain? Dated?? Ricer??? To some, sure. For me? This is what my "dream" Corvette would look like.

The C8 rear is fantastic. The GT3 rear is basic and boring. People call the C6 rear boring and basic (I agree), GM gives the C7 rear more design. People call the C7 rear basic and boring (I disagree), they give more design to the C8 rear. And now it's apparently too busy. Give them a break. It looks fantastic.

Lol I didn't mean it like that but can definitely understand why you thought that. I don't think the GT3 rear is boring... but put it next to a C8 and it totally is. Just like when you put a C8 next to a Chiron. Of course the C8 is going to look boring.

Those two cars are not comparable. The C8 makes that 911 obsolete. Period. Not one person would even notice that 911 next to a C8!

Disagree, but given what forum this is . . .

The C8 is a great value proposition, no doubt. For someone like me who doesn't want to plunk down 6 figures on a car, it will do nicely.

All I know is the C8 will look 10 times better lowered on high quality aftermarket wheels.

It's not needed at all. The big blocks of the '60s are long gone. It's literally because of this:

How is that a bad thing? You know how many sales it would cost if it didn't have that?
