Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic vs Arctic White?
Any ideas which may be nicer? I have't seen the Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic but it does look interesting and is a new color vs.Arctic White. Another thread posted photos of the Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic and it looked sharp from the photos. I know it's a personal preference. Any thoughts? TIA

BMW has this new color for the M2 Competition, called Hockenheim Silver in this iteration, that is similar.. Similar in that its hard to tell from White .. This seems to be the new hot color this year. Just wish I could see it side by side with white in the real world..

Trust me, it does not look white under any circumstances. It comes across as a light gray, sort of like a 15-20% gray on your printer. It has been used on Cadillacs (when it is called “Glacier”) and various Chevrolet models in the 2018 and 2019 model years.

I currently have a Z06 in Arctic white and it gets lots of looks and thumbs up. I am also giving consideration to the Ceramic Metallic Gray. I really like the Cool Gray interior, It really looks good.

My C7 is Arctic White. I l♡ve it. However I love several C7/8 colors. Ceramic Gray ain't one of em.
I just couldn't go Ceramic Gray. I saw it before I located my Arctic White. You're not going to get more love for Ceramic Gray than Arctic White. It ain't happenin'. You feel me?

Ceramic Gray to me looks like a dirty white car. No thanks.

I've gotten more compliments on the Ceramic than I can count. It changes depending on the light and has a very light metallic. I don't think the C8 looks as good in this color as the C7 did.

Sometimes when I look at from afar, it looks like sterling silver but of course it’s not a strong silver metallic. It’s kind of like taking a white background on your computer and then setting the color warmth to “cool” which gives it a slight blue hue.

Reminds me of Sazuka Grey Audi offered with the R8... I absolutely love it. I think it’ll look fantastic with black wheels, all the black accents, and exposed carbon fiber roof and mirrors.
Really hoping this color sticks around for awhile.

I was considering either Arctic White or CMG, both with an Adrenaline Red 2LT Interior. IMO there is a distinct blue cast to the CMG making the red interior looks nowhere as good as in the AW. Now, if you want a black interior, both exteriors would look good and I’d lean toward the CMG. A comment when asking sales at Kerbeck is they have never ordered for stock a red interior combined with CMG.

I think Ceramic Matrix Gray has a cult following, the people that like it....love it. The people that don't like it as noted above feel that it looks like a dingy or dirty white car. It's a matter of personal choice. I love Silver on vettes and like CMG, there are people such as myself that think that Silver looks sleek and cool and then the other feedback I hear is that it looks bland and like every other car on the road (since Silver is one of the more popular colors for the general automotive population) but not the Vette.
Bottom line, get what you love...It's your car and you are making the payments. If you want what "everybody" loves...get the white, red or blue but if you want a Vette that isn't the same color as all the other vettes that show up at Vette meet...go for one of the less popular colors and your vette will stand out among the crowd.
