Default Deleting rear spoiler on Z51 models?

I prefer the look of the car without the rear spoiler but would like to have the Z51 package.

Any guesses how difficult it will be to remove the rear spoiler but still maintain the clean OEM look of the rear?

Thanks

Problem would be the mounting holes. Either bodywork and repaint or some type of plug.

I'm also for the spoiler delete but I'd rather keep it instead of removing the rear fascia if that's the case
And dealing with finding a way to plug the holes.

ummmm.. why would you buy a z51(track car) and remove the one thing keeping it from flying off the track at 150mph?

Sure would like a Spoiler Delete Option for the Z51 Package....I'm not worried about downforce as I don't track my car but I want the Z51 goodies! Give us an option delete Chevrolet!!!

High Wing looks better on it. IMO, i would buy the High Wing and sell the Z51 spoiler.

Order Z51 with high wing. Since high wing is dealer installed, tell them not to install.

Sell high wing.

done.

Hopefully they will offer a spoiler delete option in the configurator.

You sure about that? It’s possible those holes are drilled by dealer on high wing install

It seems like about 90% of us hated the Z51 spoiler when we saw it on the mules. Thus far, I haven't seen the same level of angst since it's been uncovered. I agree a delete option would be nice. The clean decklid looks nice, and the high wing does as well, though I'd have concerns about utilizing the cargo space in the back with it, since the Corvette is my airport car also.

Because very few of us actually track our cars at 150mph? Seems obvious to me, but then I'm unusual in that way.

Gonna guess it will arrive at the dealer with the standard wing installed. Dealer would take it off and replace it with high wing.

i'm not sure how much that wing will help in tracking, most are cosmetic. I never did see any downforce numbers from this wing, you?

I think they said there was 400 pounds of downforce with the Z51 package. Not sure if that is all the rear spoiler or a combo of the front splitter and rear spoiler.

If you don’t track you don’t need a Z51.

Is the eLSD available without the Z51 package? How about the taller rear diff gearing?

If not, I can see how some would want the Z51 package without tracking the car. They might also like to look of the larger brakes, even is not needed on the street or strip.
