I'm 6'0" 190lb. with the long legs. No complaints. ....

The tall-*** Vincent van Goghs, with the long torsos and short legs, are gonna have trouble with their heads at the rear roof line.

Well this is sad to hear. I remember when the C7 was launched. I was so excited, then I started seeing pictures and videos of people getting in it. I thought to myself this thing looks tighter than the C6. The funny thing was the C6 dimensions were listed to be smaller than the C7 and I can say the C7 was tighter than the C6. The C5 definitely was roomy.

When I look at pictures and videos of the C8 it actually looks roomier than the C7 did even though the dimensions show it to be smaller. So I think time will tell. I remember reading how people that were 6’2” couldn’t fit in the C7. Then I got mine and adjusted the seat properly and I fit. It was tight, but what isn’t when you’re 6’7”?

One thing I wish I did was go for an aftermarket seat that gave inches of headroom and legroom. Knowing that is an option, I will definitely do that this time.

Was there room to modify the seat rails? Might be an option.

The transparent roof added a bit more headroom in the C7. When they start showing up dealers see if you can find one with a transparent roof to see if you fit, it might also add another inch of head room.

I’m 6’5” and am just going to have to make it work!

I make myself fit in my C1 with original seats and steering wheel... this should feel like a Rolls Royce. 😂

Builds/bodies vary, so if you are 6'3.5" like me you might just fit.

3LT interior - 2 tone gray/black. Seat all the way back (legroom was fine) and down.
So were you even close? Was your scalp fully rubbing? I'm 6'4'' with a long Torso and fit into the C7 just fine. Are you sure the seat was in it's lowest setting? I wouldn't right it off so soon.

Glad I'm only 6' 1 3/4". With a helmet I just barely fit in the C7 at Spring Mountain. It took lots of playing with the seat position to get it just right,

Correct, as I posted elsewhere, my C6 had more room than my C7.

The seat in the C7 also sat about an inch higher above the floor, so my eyes peer into the visor, where in the C6 I was sitting lower, much lower and more hunkered down. I felt more "dug in" in my C6.

It sometimes takes quite a bit of experimenting for tall folks to find the right seating position in many sports cars. I'm not sure how much time you had to play around with all the adjustments, but I wouldn't rule it out yet.

I dont know if theres a reason to skip out on the entire car because of this. Modifications can be made and none are difficult

The c7 guys have tons of solutions. I've seen people take foam out of the seats, cut the seat rails so the whole seat is lower, modify some switch so the seat can move further down electronically, and I have seen other non-corvette owners modify the headliner to make more room.

Hell, there is a Gallardo for sale right now that was owned by some basketball player. Its gray and they extended the entire car by 12 inches to accomdate. This isnt practical, obviously, but just something interested to note.

There are just so many options that I dont think anyone can be "too tall" for this car.

Corvette's are made for guys my size (6', 175 lbs). Even so, the cockpit is a tight fit and getting in ad out is not easy.

Wooo-hooo!

I’m 5’9”

I never dat in a c7, but when I sat in a C5 and C6 it felt like a damn cavern in there. I kept thinking “this is built for the modern American male - too big!”

Im hoping for a tighter cockpit.

Interesting. I'm 5'11" and the C7Z is the only modern Corvette I could fit in with a helmet without removing the top. I'm on my second C7Z and have never taken the top off on either car. When I sold my first one the buyer was surprised when I told him the top had never been off. I'm nearing 3 years of ownership on my 2017 and that top has never been off either. Just a personal thing I realize but I just don't get the whole removable top thing or convertibles for that matter. I realize many like it but I wish it was a FRC.

He may not even need any modifications. OP sat in a GT2 and just choosing a different seat (GT1 or Comp) might be all the solution needed.
