Can anyone confirm if Bob Stall is offering the c8 as MSRP?
(preferably anyone who has been there or spoken with them directly)

If there are any Chevy reps there, please ask them what the 0-60 time is for the non-Z51.

Thanks!

Usually this means you can't order them at build time you buy these after you get the car and the dealer installs them so in the end you have 2 sets of wheels.

I just left the dealership. Did sit in the car, fit and finish feels better than the C7. Gorgeous. Place was pretty crowded. I did overhear a salesman tell a customer that they were considering market adjustments on pricing. Not a concern as I am not going to buy for a year or two.

Received confirmation today that they are staying at MSRP. Thank goodness I picked them out of everyone else to leave a deposit with. Now we'll see what the rest of socal area dealers do.

What I really want to know is what's it like for the passenger with everything being so "driver centric"? Does it feel cramped? Walled off from the driver? How about accessing controls or the touch screen?

What is the purpose of that plastic type plate in the center of the front grill?

Probably for license plates in required states. Pop that out and put your plate there

No it does not feel walled off or isolated. I thought it would but you can see everything the driver can see on the info screen etc. It just isn't tailored towards the passenger. You are intimate with the center console and driver. Controls such as seat heating, cooling, etc for the passenger are on that center road of buttons. Glove box when opened hits my shins. Seats are wider than the the C5/6/7 in my 'butt' feel. Possibly the best seats I've sat it in any Corvette, or any other car for that matter.

Biggest first impression or notables:

Zero room behind seats..(duh). Just used to throwing a hat etc behind me when hopping in.
You have to really move towards the middle of the car to get in, larger lower door rocker to traverse. I suspect a lot of people will be hanging onto the roof line when getting in.
Although the nose is shorter the distance to the front still 'appears' long. Longer dash (fore aft orientation) to look over before the hood/frunk area.
Leg room was excellent along with dead pedal location.
Head room will be an issue for folks. I don't have a long torso, but am tall and head room got my attention. Long torso folks will have an issue.

I think you wear this car more than any other Corvette I've been in. Finally, and this is going to sound stupid, but the engine looks really good.

Well done on the photo essay, OP, and thanks for sharing.

Perhaps you stated it and I missed it: How tall are you, and how heavy if I may ask, and how did the interior feel as far as room? I'm 6' 2" and 250#.
