I believe that the C8 has 11 inch rear rims. The C7 has 12 inch. I wonder if and when they ever bring out a Z06 if it will have wider rear rims and wider fenders to accommodate the wider tires. Also, what are the rear tire spec widths from the C7 Z07 and C8 comparisons?

Corvette C8 Z06:
Power: 700hp@7000RPM
Torque: 675lbft@5000RPM
Weight: 3300lbs
Price: $90K
Don't expect much more than this. If this package manages 0-60mph in around 2.5-2.6s. That will be crazy package if Chevrolet is able to pull this off.

Besides performance one design change I expect Chevrolet to work on is allocating place for rear number plate at bottom instead of placing it in the middle or top as they are the did with C8 Stingray. There is no exhaust in the center so it should make it easy to implement it at bottom.

Same guy that posted the actual C8 4 days before the reveal claims -
1. Z06 will be out 1yr from intro (so january 2021 ish.
2. Z06 Will have the blackwing TT engine and prosuce 720 to 745hp.
3. It will be more than wider fenders and a better engine.. unlike C7 gen. Much improved over base C8
I have to say i would usually ignore that but.... he did post the pic if the Blue C8 4 days prior... hes definitely speaking to someone interesting (he sat with Ed Welburn and did a video a few years ago in Ed's studio. Interesting video)..
Who knows...
